Chandrayaan 3 Landing: Moon's surface pits, not even atmosphere... Chandrayaan-3 will have to face these challenges at the time of landing

Chandrayaan 3:
If for some reason the landing on the moon fails, then Chandrayaan will have to wait for about a month for landing again and till then it will be kept in the orbit of the moon.

Chandrayaan 3 Landing: People's curiosity about Chandrayaan-3 is increasing. In such a situation, different questions are arising in the minds of people regarding Chandrayaan's landing on the moon. What will happen during landing and what are the obstacles Chandrayaan-3 will have to face? This question will be in everyone's mind. There is a lot of difference in the atmosphere and time of the Earth and the Moon. However, keeping all these things in mind, Chandrayaan-3 has been prepared. Nevertheless, Chandrayaan will have to face many challenges while landing.

The first challenge will be to control the vertical velocity properly to save Chandrayaan from any accident. The second challenge will be that there are many boulders and craters (pits) on the surface of the moon, so the lander may face problems during soft landing. Solar will not be able to get enough sunlight in the pit on the moon because there is no atmosphere there, so parachute or gliding will not help for landing.

What if Chandrayaan-3 could not land on August 23?

There is also a question that if for some reason the lander is not able to land on the moon on August 23, then what will happen next? In such a situation, Chandrayaan will have to wait for about a month for landing again and till then it will be kept in the moon's orbit. One day of the moon is equal to 29 days of the earth. Means 14 days day and 14 days night. There, a day is not of 24 hours but of 708.3 hours. It is dark on the moon at present and on August 23 there will be moonlight. In such a situation, if Chandrayaan-3 is not able to land on the moon on August 23, then it will have to wait for 29 days.
