Chandrayaan-3 sent another beautiful picture, you would have never seen the moon so closely

Chandrayaan-3 is moving closer to the moon. ISRO is giving every update related to it. It tweeted a video on Friday, in which the moon is visible. This video has been captured by the camera of the lander. This video was recorded on 15 August.

India's mission Moon Chandrayaan-3 has sent a video of the moon on Friday. Indian Space Research Organization ie ISRO has tweeted this video. It was captured on 15 August. The pits on the moon are visible in the video. ISRO tweeted the video and wrote, Lander's camera has sent the video. The Lander Position Detection Camera captured this video on August 15, 2023.

Meanwhile, Chandrayaan-3 crossed another milestone on Friday. Lander module successfully carried out deboosting operation. After this its orbit was reduced to 113 km x 157 km. ISRO gave this information by tweeting. The second deboosting operation will take place on August 20 at 2 pm.

he images shared by ISRO include images taken by the Lander Position Detection Camera (LPDC) on August 15 and by the Lander Imager Camera-1 on August 17, just after the separation of the lander module from the propulsion module. Earlier on August 17, the lander module of Chandrayaan-3 was separated from the propulsion module. The lander module carrying the lander Vikram and the rover Pragyan is now ready to descend into an orbit that will bring it closer to the lunar surface. The soft landing on the Moon's south pole will take place on August 23.

Let us tell you that Chandrayaan-3 costing Rs 600 crore was sent on July 14 on a 41-day journey to the south pole of the moon. Chandrayaan-2, sent before Chandrayaan-3, failed to make a soft landing on September 7, 2019. The objective of Chandrayaan-3 is also to make a safe soft landing on the lunar surface, to roam the rover on the moon and to conduct scientific experiments.

Chandrayaan-1 mission was sent in 2008. If Chandrayaan-3 is successful in soft landing, then India will become the fourth country in the world to master this technique after America, China and former Soviet Union.
