What does the charger rule for e-scooters say?
According to the Ministry of Heavy Industry, electric vehicle manufacturing companies are taking subsidy under the Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME). Under the subsidy rule, these companies cannot take the payment of the charger from the customers. Despite this, the vehicle companies were charging more from the customers in the name of charger. Which is absolutely wrong legally. However, a complaint had come to the ministry in this matter. When the matter was investigated, the complaint was found to be correct. After which the ministry decided to take action against these companies in the interest of the customers.
