Confusion is not only about Rakshabandhan but also about Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi, so know the correct date here

In Hindu religion, the help of Panchang is taken to know the Teej-festival and the auspicious time associated with it. Since this year there is confusion in the minds of people regarding the date of not only Rakhi but also Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Ganeshotsav, read this article to know the exact date and auspicious time of these three big festivals.

India is considered a country of festivals. Many holy festivals are celebrated in our country. Every year in Hindu religion, festivals start from the month of Shravan. This year too, festivals have arrived but this time due to many coincidences, there is a lot of confusion among people regarding the date. There is doubt among people regarding the dates of Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi. Let us know what is the auspicious time of these important festivals according to the Panchang..

When is Raksha Bandhan?

The festival of Raksha Bandhan is a festival that strengthens the sacred relationship between brothers and sisters. On this day, the sister ties the thread of protection to her brother by applying tilak. In return, the brother gives some gifts and promises to protect him throughout his life. Every year Rakhi is celebrated on the full moon day of the month of Shravan but this year due to Bhadra Kaal on the day of Raksha Bandhan there is a lot of confusion. Some people say that Rakhi is on 30th August while some are saying that Rakhi is on 31st August.

Let us clear this confusion, this year the full moon will start on 30th August at 10.59 am and will end on 31st August at 7.05 am. But this year Bhadra is also happening which is considered inauspicious for tying Rakhi. This year, Bhadra Kaal will start on 30th August with the full moon date and will end after 10 hours i.e. on 30th August at 9.02 pm. For this reason, the auspicious time for tying Rakhi will be from 9:02 pm on 30th August to 7:05 am on 31st August.

When is Ganesh Chaturthi?

Every year we all wait for Ganesh Chaturthi. The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp all over the country and especially in Maharashtra. This great festival is celebrated for ten days. It is believed that a devotee who worships Lord Ganesha with complete rituals gets the desired results. Every year the great festival of Lord Ganesha starts from Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada and Lord Ganesha takes leave on the day of Anant Chaturdashi.

According to the Panchang, this year the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada will start from 2.09 pm on 18th September and end on 19th September at 3.13 pm. According to those who know Sanatan Dharma, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on 19 September. Ganesh Chaturthi of 2023 is very auspicious because this year Ravi Yoga and Swati Nakshatra are also being formed along with Ganesh Chaturthi.

When is Krishna Janmashtami?

Shri Krishna Janmashtami is considered a very important festival in Sanatan Dharma. On this day, Shri Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, was born. It is said that on this day Lord Krishna himself remains on earth. On this day, whoever worships Nand's son with all the rituals, all his sorrows and pains go away and his life is filled with happiness. Every year Shri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month because Lord Krishna was born on this day.

This year there is a lot of confusion regarding the date of Janmashtami. According to the Panchang, this year the Ashtami Tithi of Bhadrapada is starting on September 6 at 3.37 pm and ends on September 7 at 4.14 pm. According to the Puranas, Banke Bihari was born at 12 o'clock in the night, in such a way, the Smartas, the householders, will observe Janmashtami fast on 6th September, while the people associated with Vaishnavism and ISKCON will celebrate the birth anniversary of Kanha on 07th September.
