Millionaire taxpayers are increasing rapidly in India. In the last three years, there has been an increase of about 51 per cent in the number of individual millionaire taxpayers. This is the highest ever increase in the case of millionaire taxpayers.
The number of rich in the country is increasing rapidly. Recently CBDT has released the data of millionaire taxpayers for the last 3 years. According to which, the number of taxpayers getting salary of more than one crore rupees in India is increasing rapidly. There has been more boom in this since Corona. It is clearly evident from this data that people's earnings have increased even during Corona. Due to which the pace of development in the country is also increasing rapidly. According to the report, the number of taxpayers with income above Rs 1 crore has increased from 1,11,939 to 1,69,890 in the last 3 financial years. This is 51 percent more than the year 2019-20. In the last 3 years, the official number of people earning more than Rs 1 crore has increased by almost 51 percent.
Those earning more than 1 crore increased
According to the data of the Central Board of Direct Taxes, the number of people earning more than one crore rupees is increasing every year. If the number of these taxpayers is seen in comparison to the year 2019-20, then there has been an increase of 51 percent in it recently. While the number of people paying income tax above Rs 5 lakh is only 0.6 percent more. Please tell, this figure is of Individual Taxpayer.
Compared to 2018-19, only 1.10 crore taxpayers come in the tax bracket of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. These figures show that the number of rich in the country is increasing rapidly. Those earning more than one crore are continuously increasing.
