It is easy to fool people by impersonating a girl on the telephone, but can a boy impersonate a girl and trap 4 people in his love trap? In real life, it seems impossible, but Ayushmann Khurrana, like a good salesman, not only sells us this concept, but we also digest it easily. After the success of Dream Girl, the eagerness to know what the pairing of Ayushmann and Raaj Shaandilyaa would do in Dream Girl 2 was in the heart and Ayushmann Khurrana did not disappoint us at all. So before watching the movie, read here the complete review of Dreamgirls 2.
The story begins with Karam (Ayushmann Khurrana), but now Karam does not act in Ramlila but sings in Jagrata. In this film too, Karam's debt-ridden father Jagjit (Annu Kapoor) is seen riding on his head as usual. Not only the father, Part 2 of the film also includes his langotiya yaar Smiley, who, instead of getting his friend out of trouble, creates new problems for him.
Karam also has a girlfriend surrounded by troubles from all sides. But the biggest enemies of Pari (Ananya Pandey) and Karam's love are Pari's father and Karam's poverty. Pari's father Jaipal (Manoj Joshi), seeing the condition of his daughter's future in-laws, puts a condition in front of Karam that he will give his daughter's hand in Karam's hand only when he has a house worth Rs 25-30 lakhs. There will be bank balance and a secure job.
The search for a job and the condition of Pari's father, brings Karam to Sona Bhai's (Vijay Raaz) dance bar, where he works as a worshipper. Now how this dancer Pooja later becomes Shahrukh's wife and daughter-in-law of Abu Salem (Paresh Rawal) and how this raita creates havoc in Karam's life, you have to watch Dream Theater Must watch Girl 2.
How is the movie?
Dream Girl 2 hits the sixers of comedy on the opening ball itself and throughout the film, Ayushmann entertains the audience a lot by playing a smoky innings of comedy. The hero of this film is also Ayushmann Khurrana and the heroine of the film is also Ayushmann Khurrana. Seeing a man as a woman on the big screen and 4-4 men going crazy behind him is beyond logic, but still we enjoy this film a lot. This film is more fun than the first Dream Girl, but the way Dream Girl gave a strong message is missing in this film. Nevertheless, it can be said that Ayushmann Khurrana has completed the 'task' given to him like a real 'roadie' and his team has fully supported him.
Acting
Ayushmann Khurrana has worked so hard on 'Pooja' in Dream Girl 2 that we enjoy Pooja's screen presence in the film more than Karam (Ayushmann's main character). Ayushmann became Sita in Dream Girl Part 1 as well, but that character was shown only for a few moments and the whole film had only Pooja's voice and Karam's body, but in Part 2, Pooja's charm is being seen the most. Pooja's tantrums, her voice, mannerisms and actions will make you roll with laughter.
From Riteish Deshmukh (Humshakals-Apna Sapna Money Money) to Govinda (Aunt No. 1) and Kamal Haasan (Chachi 420), many actors have played women in Hindi films. The character of 'Chachi' played by Kamal Haasan in 1997 using prosthetics is one of the best female characters ever. But even without using any prosthetic, Ayushmann's 'Pooja' has gone a step ahead of 'Chachi'.
Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Abhishek Banerjee, Rajpal Yadav, Manjot Singh have supported Ayushmann a lot. Ananya Pandey is good, but Nusrat's character was more impressive. Pari (Ananya Pandey's character) seems to be just a supporting actress in this film, as the whole story revolves around Pooja.

Direction and Writing
Raj Shandilya and Naresh Kathuria have worked on the story of this film. Raj Shandilya, who worked as a writer in Comedy Circus, is also the director of this film and has been an expert in casting his actors in female roles. From Kapil Sharma to Krushna Abhishek, he has presented many in comedy shows by making them women. That's why it would not have been difficult for him to make Ayushman 'Pooja'. Talking about Naresh Kathuria, this is his first Hindi film. Earlier, he has worked in Punjabi films like Carry On Jatta.
The screenplay written by these two does not let us get bored even for a moment. In the dialogue of the film very cleverly reference has been given to the incidents happening around us. Then be it Gadar, Roadies or The Kapil Sharma Show. Paresh Rawal's 'When I went to see the film, Sunny Leone was creating mutiny in place of Sunny Deol', or 'Chhote Mote Sonu Sood to Hum Bhi Hain', 'Shilpa Shetty was brought by understanding, turned out to be Sunil Shetty' Like dialogues connect people to the story in a better way. Pooja's romance on Gadar 2's song and the twist coming in the film during this time is a master stroke of the director. In terms of direction and screenplay, this film deserves full marks.
Music and technology
Hitesh Sonik has done a wonderful job on the background score of the film. This music adds to the charm, especially in comedy scenes. In terms of songs, Dream Girl Part 1 was much better, if there was a powerful song like 'Radhe Radhe' in Part 2, it would have been more fun. Cinematography is good, but the color tone could have been done better in the scene shot in the dance bar. Great work has been done on the film on the editing table.
Ayushmann Khurrana is making people laugh a lot without over acting. We can enjoy this film with the whole family.
What are the flaws
Like the song 'Radhe Radhe Radhe, Tere Bina Krishna To Lage Aade Aade', Dream Girl Part One had a powerful climax and a strong message. Dream Girl Part 2 also has a good climax, but if you compare it with Part One, you will feel that maybe something is missing.
