He said that the government will work to make 2 crore millionaire Didis in the country. He told that just as the country's Asha Didis played an important role in the process of vaccination during the Corona period, similarly Lakhpati Didi will also contribute in the development of the country. PM Modi said that there are Asha Didi, Bank Wali Didi, Anganwadi Wali Didi and Medicine Didi in the villages of India, similarly now the central government has a dream of making 2 crore millionaire Didi in the villages.
Government will give drones to women, will train them
Along with this, while mentioning another policy for women, Prime Minister Modi said that 10 crore women in the country are associated with the Women's Self Help Group. PM Modi said that with the help of these women, work will be done to connect the country's agricultural system with technology. For this, the government will give training to these women to operate drones and repair drones. He said that the government will also provide drones to thousands of such groups, which these women will be able to use.
PM Modi said that the government will initially launch this scheme by giving drones to 15,000 self-help groups. The aim of the central government is that this will be an important step to enable these women and strengthen the country in agri-tech. Apart from these important schemes for the women of the country, Prime Minister Modi also reminded the contribution of women in different fields.
India is teaching the lesson of women led development
He said that India is teaching the world the lesson of women-led development. Prime Minister Modi also listed many examples for this. He told that if any country has the maximum number of female pilots in civil aviation, then it is in India. He told that whether it is Chandrayaan or any mission of ISRO, women scientists are leading it. Prime Minister Modi also shared this mantra of women-led development in the G-20 Summit, which was also accepted by the participating countries.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned an incident related to the increasing interest of women in the field of science and technology. PM Modi told that he was on a country tour, then the senior leader there asked him that do daughters study science and technology in your country? Answering this question, PM Modi said that in my country, my daughters are taking maximum part in STEM i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths more than boys.
