Earlier one had to stand in a long line to pay the time toll while driving on the road, but now FASTag has made this thing easier. Fastag is pasted on the windshield of the car, so that it automatically gets scanned at the toll booth and money is deducted from the account connected to your fastag. That is, if there is a fastag, it is a very useful thing, but what can a bike rider do, how can he take a fastag and pay the toll. Many such questions must be coming in your mind, today we will tell you how you can get fastag for your bike and if you do not take it then how much loss you can face.
Where to get FasTag for bike
Happily for bike riders, no FASTag is given to them. Instead, they can buy a smart card which can be recharged on an annual basis. Now the question comes, is there any toll for the bike? As per the government policy, vehicles with less than 1 PCU (passenger car unit) are exempted from paying toll tax. Bike or any two wheeler is equal to half of the car or even less.
Now you do not have to worry about the fastag of the bike, there is no fastag for the bike and neither the bike or any two wheeler has to pay toll.
