Bankers told Reuters that Adani Airport Holdings and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Company are trying to raise Rs 1000 crore to Rs 1500 crore through bonds. Both the companies want to bring a bond of 5 years. According to bankers who are aware of this plan, these bonds can be issued in September. However, no official statement has come from Adani Group on this matter.

According to sources, Adani Group can issue bonds for 5 years from September this year. During this time the group can issue a bond of 1500 crores. Apart from this, Adani Enterprises and Electricity Mumbai may also look at possible debt issues. However, the Adani Group will finalize its plan only when market regulator SEBI submits its report on the investigation into Hindenburg's allegations.
