Fed up with Vi? Note this method of porting in Jio

Vi to Jio Port: You are also a Vodafone Idea user but are sad about not getting 5G service or network problem and want to port your number to Jio? So let us explain to you in some easy steps how you will be able to do this work easily.

You are also a user of telecom company Vodafone Idea aka Vi company, but you are upset due to network problem or not getting 5G service till now, due to which you are planning to port your number to Reliance Jio (MNP). But it is not understood that how to do this work sitting at home, then today we will remove this difficulty, yes, today we will tell you some easy steps, following which your work will be done.

As we know that both Jio and Airtel network operators have rolled out 5G service for the users and now the existing customers of these companies are able to enjoy unlimited 5G data. But no official date has been revealed regarding Vi's 5G service, that means users will still have to wait a long time to enjoy 5G or port their number to Jio or Airtel.

Vi to Jio Port: Note Method

1. First of all you have to send a message from your existing number (VI) to 1900, in the message you have to send PORT (capital letters) space 10 digit mobile number. For example send by writing PORT 1234567890 (mobile number), you have to enter the mobile number you want to port.

2. After sending the message, you will get UPC (Unique Port Code) and expiry date on your number.

3. Take this code and go to your nearest Jio store or Jio retailer, you will have to take Aadhaar card or address proof, identity proof along with you.

4. After giving the documents port process will be started, in about 5 days your new number will be activated. Note that till the time your Jio number is not activated, your existing (Vi) number will continue to work.
