Google listens to all your words, some are even recorded... do these things to avoid

Is my phone listening to me? If we tell you that Google records some of your things, then you will definitely get worried. Actually, the company saves your voice and what you are searching on the internet through voice assistant on its server. On this basis, then you are shown ads etc. That is, in a way, Google keeps an eye on your every conversation. All this happens because you people have given permission to Google. Many of you must have turned on a special setting in Google, due to which Google shows you ads etc. according to your location. For example, if you are on a trip, then you will start seeing all the advertisements related to travel. If you are in a hotel, you will start seeing service ads related to it. If you do not want Google to listen and record your talk, then immediately uncheck a particular setting from your Google Account. 

Uncheck this option inside Web & App Activity 

To prevent Google from listening to you, first of all you have to go to your Google account and go to the 'Manage Account' option. Here you will get the option of data and privacy. In this, scroll down to the option of 'Web and App Activity' and uncheck 'Voice and Audio Activity'. If it is already unchecked then you are safe. But if this option is tick marked, then understand that till now Google was listening to you and was also using your voice to improve its AI tool.

If you understand the option of voice and audio activity in detail, then you will also come to know that Google also saves your location in its server. With the help of all this, you are given a better browsing experience and Google trains its AI tool according to your command and makes it faster.

Turn off this setting in apps too

Apart from Google, keep access to the microphone closed in the phone's apps as well. If you give microphone access to an app, that app can listen and record your voice. The danger is more when you keep third party apps in the phone because these apps have no confidence that how they are operating and where their server is and whether some data is being recorded. Our advice is to always download apps from a trusted location and only give the app access to what it needs. Means don't stick to everything. Quickly remove access when you're done. Do not even give access to your banking details, gallery, documents, etc. to any app unnecessarily. In this digital age, anything can be done from anywhere. The only way to be safe is to check or turn off every setting wisely.
