At present, 58 government schools of the state have been added to it. Last year, the Delhi government started the French language program in 30 government schools in a pilot phase. This language learning option was given to children from classes 6 to 12. Now French, German and Japanese language classes will be conducted for class 6th to 8th.

Another step has been taken towards making government schools of Delhi hi-tech. The Delhi Directorate of Education has implemented online absence in government schools of Delhi. In this case, the class teachers of the schools will enter the attendance of the students online using the tab or the school computer system. Along with this, the effect of the record will also be on the final result of the students.

The circular further states that the manual attendance recorded by the class teacher will not be considered for any purpose. The online attendance record for the examinations will be treated as final. The attendance data of students submitted online by the class teacher and school will be visible at the HQ level.
