Foxconn Technologies, an iPhone maker on Apple's contract, has started production of the iPhone 15 in India. The company has started preparations for its shipment at the plant built in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. It is possible that when the iPhone 15 is launched next month, the company's CEO Tim Cook will have the Make In India iPhone 15 in his hands.
Earlier, Foxconn used to assemble only iPhone in India, but last year it started production of iPhone 14 here as well. Since then, the production of iPhone in India is continuously increasing. In the total iPhone exports worldwide, iPhones worth Rs 10,000 crore are being exported from India. India's share in the total production of Apple iPhone is up to 7 percent.
iPhone 15 will be available immediately in India
This time with the global launch of iPhone 15, this phone is expected to be available in India. That is, iPhone lovers will not have to wait long to buy the new iPhone 15. There are two main reasons for this, the first is that Apple has opened 2 Apple stores in India, due to which you will get the phone in India immediately and exclusively. Due to the manufacturing of the second iPhone being in India only, the company will be able to deliver it in the Indian market.
Foxconn preparing for shipment
Foxconn will start shipping these devices from India only a few weeks after the start of deliveries from China. Due to the tension between China and America, Foxconn has started shifting its production to India. So that there is no harm to its most popular production cycle. Now the company is going to start making other Apple products in India as well.
