Two students preparing for NEET committed suicide in Rajasthan's Kota. The age of one student who committed suicide was 17 and the other was 18. One student committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the coaching center and the other committed suicide by hanging himself in his room. The suicide of two students in a single day has shaken everyone, although this is not the first case when students studying in Kota have committed suicide. In the past several years, such incidents are happening in Kota, but what is it that students preparing for an exam take their own lives? Why do they lose their attachment to themselves?
In this case, doctors say that the biggest reason for suicide is poor mental health. Long-standing depression causes suicide. In such a situation, it is necessary to identify the symptoms of poor mental health on time. Every year 80 lakh people commit suicide all over the world. The reason for the suicide of 2 out of every 10 people is poor mental health. If we talk about students, then there are many such cases where students go into depression under the pressure of studies. Which later leads to suicide.
If there is any concern for a long time, then pay attention
Dr. AK Vishwakarma, in the Department of Psychiatry at the District Combined Hospital, says that poor mental health is the reason for 90 percent of the suicide cases. If a child has any problem or anxiety for a long time, then it becomes the cause of depression. If this problem persists for months, then the child goes into the last stage of depression. In such a situation, his love for himself ends. The ability to think and understand starts decreasing and the thought of ending one's own life comes in the child's mind. If someone understands the child's problem during this time, then it is okay, otherwise in such a situation he can commit suicide.
Psychiatrist Dr. Arun Kumar in Delhi says that any traumatic event in childhood, chemical imbalance in the brain, things not happening according to one's own way and worrying about something spoil mental health. Due to this, some symptoms start appearing in the beginning. If they are identified on time, then the cases of suicide can be reduced.

If you are seeing all these symptoms of poor mental health in the child, then talk to them and try to understand the problem. Do not leave the child alone.
