Physical Fitness for CPO SI

Height: To become a sub-inspector in Central Armed Forces including Delhi Police, the height of male candidates in General, OBC and SC category should be 170 cm. At the same time, height 162.5 cm has been sought in the ST category. The height of female candidates has been asked for 157 cm. In ST category should be 154 cms.

Chest: In the recruitment of Central Police Force, chest has been kept only for the male category. The chest of unreserved category candidates should be 80 to 85 cm. For ST, the width of the chest has been kept at 77 to 82 cm.

Race: The selection of sub inspector is done after all kinds of fitness. In this vacancy, men will have to run 100 meters in 16 seconds. Whereas, it is necessary for women to run 100 meters in 18 seconds.

Long Jump: Long jump has also been kept in physical fitness. Male candidates of all categories will have to apply long jump of 3.65 meters. At the same time, a distance of 2.7 meters has been kept for women.

High Jump: High jump will also have to be installed for BSF, Delhi Police, CISF. In this, 1.2 meters height has been kept for men. Whereas, the height of the high jump for women is 0.9 metres. For more details, you can see the official notification.

Written exam

To get a job in the post of SI in the Central Armed Forces, the candidates have to first pass the written examination. According to the annual calendar released by SSC, the Sub Inspector Recruitment Tier 2 written exam will be held on 22 December 2023. Apart from this, dates for SSC CHSL, CGL and many other exams have also been released.
