Kapil Dev gave a shocking statement on the question of Hardik Pandya playing Test cricket again

 

Former veteran captain Kapil Dev has given a big response on whether Indian team's veteran all-rounder Hardik Pandya will play in Test cricket again. He said that he does not think that now Hardik Pandya will return to Test cricket again. According to Kapil Dev, if Hardik remains fully fit then he must play red ball cricket but it does not seem to be happening.

Talking about Hardik Pandya, he has played some Test matches for India. He played a total of 11 Test matches in his career and scored 532 runs during this period, which included one century and four half-centuries. Apart from this, he also took 17 wickets. He did the feat of taking five wickets against England. However, after this he could not return to Test cricket due to injury and now plays only ODIs and T20s.

Former England captain Nasser Hussain recently made a statement that the Indian team needs an all-rounder like Ben Stokes in Test cricket. During a conversation with Times of India, when Kapil Dev was asked if Hardik Pandya could play this role, he said,

I don't think Hardik Pandya will make a comeback in Test cricket. I saw her pictures today and don't know if she did touch-ups or what but her body looks amazing. Hardik should play as much cricket as he has got a lot of potential. If he remains fit, then he should play Test cricket as well.
