Modi government's big gift, 75 lakh women will get free gas connection

Before Rakshabandhan, PM Modi has given a big gift to the general public. The central government has decided to give a subsidy of Rs 200 on Saroi gas cylinder. The special thing is that a subsidy of Rs 200 will be given separately to the beneficiaries of the Ujjwala scheme. That is, the beneficiaries of Ujjwala will have to spend Rs 400 less for a gas cylinder.

The number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will further increase. The central government has decided that it will give gas cylinder connections to 75 lakh poor families under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. The special thing is that this decision of the government has also been approved by the central cabinet. Means now the number of beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will increase to 10 crore 35 lakh. However, at present the number of beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana in the country is 9.60 crore.

At the same time, due to this decision of the Central Government, there is an atmosphere of happiness among the economically weak people. Those who had not yet received gas cylinders under the Ujjwala scheme, their hopes have also been rekindled. Those people are feeling that this time they will also get the benefit of the scheme. In such a situation, they will not have to face smoke while cooking.

Can pick up 12 cylinders on subsidy

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is a Central Sector Scheme. This scheme was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2016. Under this scheme, the central government gives free gas connections to families below the poverty line. The special thing is that the gas connection is given in the name of the woman.
