Swarna Kamal – In this category, the best feature film is awarded Rs 2.5 lakh, the Indira Gandhi Award Rs 1 lakh 25 thousand, the best children's film is awarded with a prize money of Rs 1.5 lakh. Along with this, the winner of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award is given Rs 10 lakh, a citation and a shawl.
Rajat Kamal - Rs 1.5 lakh for the category Nargis Dutt award, Rs 1.5 lakh for the best film on social issues, Rs 1.5 lakh for the best Assamese film, Rs 1 lakh for the best film, Rs 50 thousand for the best actor is awarded. On the other hand, non-feature films are given an amount of 50 thousand or 75 thousand along with Rajat Kamal.
Who organizes?
The National Film Awards are organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. In which the entire work is done by the Directorate of Film Festival.
