Information about this update has been shared by Wabetainfo, a website that monitors the development of WhatsApp. This is going to be a beneficial update as new members will get to know about the ongoing conversations in the groups and they too can actively give their opinion after joining it. At present, this feature is available only to beta testers. In the coming time, the company can rollout it for everyone.
