WhatsApp History Sharing Feature: If you add someone or join yourself in the WhatsApp group, then you must have noticed that in the beginning we do not understand the new messages coming in the groups. This is because they are reply to the things before joining our group and we or the new person do not understand what is being talked about. To eliminate this problem, WhatsApp is working on a new feature. The new 'Recent History Sharing' feature will give group admins the right to choose whether or not they want to show old group chats to new people.
If the group admin turns on this feature, then all the people present in the group will get information about it and as soon as the new member joins, he will be able to see the chats of the last 24 hours. Information about this update has been shared by Wabetainfo, a website that monitors the development of WhatsApp. This is going to be a beneficial update as new members will get to know about the ongoing conversations in the groups and they too can actively give their opinion after joining it. At present, this feature is available only to beta testers. In the coming time, the company can rollout it for everyone.
work on this feature is also going on
WhatsApp has given Android beta users a feature called multi account login some time ago, with the help of which users can open multiple WhatsApp accounts in the same phone. This feature is also going to prove beneficial as people will be able to operate their work chats and personal accounts on the same phone. Once you add a new account, you just have to switch between the 2 accounts to open it the next time. That is, there is no need to login again and again.
