Bumper recruitment is going to happen soon for the post of constable in Uttar Pradesh Police. Notification for the recruitment of more than 52000 posts will be released soon by UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board UPPRPB. Preparations have been made by the state government for this recruitment. Please tell that the notification for this recruitment was going to be issued in the month of July itself, but till now there is no official announcement regarding this.

After the release of recruitment for the post of Constable in UP Police, the candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of UPPRPB uppbpb.gov.in. According to media reports, constables have not been recruited in UP Police since the year 2018. In such a situation, this vacancy is eagerly awaited. After the release of the notification, only the candidates having the qualification mentioned below will be able to apply in it.

Qualification for UP Police Constable

To become a constable in UP Police, only those candidates who have the qualification of 12th pass can apply. Also, talking about the age of the candidates, the minimum age asked for this vacancy is 18 years. At the same time, those above 22 years of age cannot apply in it. Please tell that the candidates who come under the purview of reservation for this vacancy will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit.

UP Police Constable Selection Process

Eligible candidates for the post of constable are selected through written examination and physical test. Candidates selected in the written test will have to appear in the Physical Eligibility Test i.e. UP Police PET. After getting selected in the physical test, the medical test and document verification round is organized.

How is the exam?

The preliminary stage for Constable in UP Police will be through a written examination. This test assesses the knowledge of the candidates in areas like General Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability and General Knowledge. The exam can be conducted online or offline and will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The final merit list will be released by the board only after all the final examinations.
