Pankaj Tripathi has left Mumbai for his village as soon as he heard the news of his father's death. Pankaj Tripathi will reach his village by 11 pm. It is said that Pankaj Tripathi and his father were very close to each other. Suddenly a mountain of sorrows has broken on Pankaj due to the passing away of his father.
Was unaware of son's stardom
Pankaj Tripathi, referring to his father in an interview, had said that his father does not even know what work he does in the film industry. Even he has never gone inside the theater to see how it is. Pankaj had told that his father had once come to Mumbai for the housewarming ceremony of his first house, after that he did not come for many years. Pankaj Tripathi had told that when someone used to show films to his father on TV, then only he used to watch films, he never went to the cinema hall to watch such films. Pankaj had recently installed a TV for his parents at his village house.
Today Pankaj Tripathi is a big name in the film world, but his father had thought something else for him. He wanted to make his son a doctor. However, when Pankaj chose the path of acting for himself, his father supported him in that too.
