The government has increased the price of petrol and diesel twice in just 15 days. This decision of the government can prove to be uproar over the people who are already facing trouble. Now 290 rupees will have to be paid for one liter of petrol.

In Pakistan, which is facing economic crisis, inflation is not taking its name. Now once again the burden of inflation has increased on the general public here. The government has increased the prices of petrol and diesel by a bumper. Due to this, petrol became costlier by Rs 17.50 per liter in Pakistan. With this, the price of one liter of petrol has gone up to Rs 290.40. In this way diesel has also become costlier at the rate of Rs 20 per litre. Now Pakistani people will have to spend Rs 293.40 to buy one liter of diesel.

The special thing is that the Government of Pakistan took the decision to increase the price of fuel on Tuesday night. This created an atmosphere of panic among the general public. In the night itself, people took bikes, cars, buses, tractors and trucks and reached the petrol pump to fill fuel. Due to this, there was a long jam for several kilometers. At the same time, there is a lot of anger among the general public due to this decision of the Government of Pakistan. People say that due to the cost of petrol and diesel, it will have a direct impact on inflation. Now in a few days, all kinds of food items including pulses, flour, rice, sugar, ghee and vegetables will become more expensive.

There is no change in the prices of light diesel

At the same time, after the announcement of the increase in the price of petrol and diesel, a notification was also issued by the Finance Division. It has been said in this notification that the new rates of petrol and diesel will be applicable from 16 August i.e. Wednesday. Along with this, the government has said in the notification that petroleum has become expensive in the international market. Due to this, a decision was taken to increase the prices of petrol and diesel. However, it has been said in the notification that there has been no change in the prices of kerosene and light diesel.

Retail inflation was 29.4 percent in June

Please tell that the Government of Pakistan has decided to increase the price of petrol and diesel twice within just 15 days. Earlier, on August 1, the Government of Pakistan had increased the current price of petrol by Rs 19.95 per liter and diesel by Rs 19.90 per litre. But, after 15 days again the people of Pakistan had to bear the brunt of inflation. That is, in just 15 days, the fuel prices in Pakistan increased by Rs 40 per litre. Even so, the people of Pakistan are troubled by the inflation. There, 28.3 percent inflation was recorded in the month of July, while the retail inflation rate in June was 29.4 percent. Due to inflation, people have to stand in line for hours to buy flour.
