iPhone 15: To increase Indian manufacturing and reduce the gap of bringing iPhone from China to India, Apple has taken a big step and has started production of its next generation iPhone 15 series in India. The phone which will be launched next month and will come in your hands will be made in India. Foxconn in Tamil Nadu is working on iPhone 15. This time you will not have to wait much for iPhone 15 because the company is making it in India itself and Apple has also opened its 2 official stores in India.
Let me tell you, before iPhone 14, Apple used to assemble only iPhone in India. But then the company started manufacturing in India and now India's share in the total iPhone production around the world is about 7 percent. Apple wants to increase this so that the shipment time of China and India can be equal. Right now there is a gap of about 6 to 9 months between China and India. How fast the production of iPhone 15 is depends entirely on the ready components as they are still imported from outside.
