Meanwhile, a youth in Maharashtra's Buldhana posted on his Instagram account wishing the neighboring country a happy Independence Day with a Pakistani flag. At the same time, he expressed pride in the independence of Pakistan. Hindu organizations fiercely created ruckus on this. At the same time, the police has registered an FIR against the accused.
According to the police, on the occasion of Pakistan's Independence Day on August 14, a youth named Muzammil Khan Ahmad Khan posted on his Instagram account, "Proud to be Pakistani". Also wished Pakistanis a happy Independence Day. His post went viral in no time, after which Hindu organizations got angry.
Hindu organizations demanded strict action from the police
Hindu organizations have started demanding immediate action against Muzammil Khan. After this, the police registered an FIR against Muzammil at the Malkapur police station for hurting the sentiments of both the communities and disturbing the peace. Activists of Hindu organizations alleged that a lot of effort was made to convince the young man on their behalf and it was told that people could be hurt by this post. But, instead the accused started arguing with him and threatened that 'I will not remove this post'. Do whatever you want to do'.
Police arrested the youth
On the other hand, when the ruckus increased, the police swung into action. The police immediately registered an FIR against the accused youth. A police official told that the accused Muzammil has been arrested. The uproar regarding the Insta post which started from 5 pm on August 14, continued till after 12 midnight. Seeing the increasing tension, the police have increased the security of the area. The police officer has said that the situation is completely under control now.
