Another Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has been suspended. This action has been taken after a dispute over a proposal by Raghav related to the Delhi Service Bill. This matter was referred to the Committee of Privileges. However, before this, Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha had targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday itself for all the allegations. In his clarification, Chadha challenged the BJP to show the piece of paper where he is claiming the signature.
Five MPs accused AAP MP Raghav Chadha that Raghav Chadha added his name to the proposed panel without their consent. Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar had on Wednesday sent the inquiry into the complaints of the MPs to the Committee of Privileges. The Speaker had received complaints of breach of privilege by Chadha, which included, among other allegations, the names of MPs without their consent, in violation of the rules of procedure and conduct of business, in a resolution on 7 August.
Suspension will continue till the report of Privileges Committee
Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that Raghav Chadha disrespected the decorum of the House by including the names of MPs in the proposal of the Select Committee without their consent. Violated the privileges of MPs. Said these things in the press conference outside the Parliament. A proposal to suspend Raghav Chadha from the Rajya Sabha was presented in the Rajya Sabha. The suspension will continue till the Privileges Committee gives its report.
