Team India's jersey will have the name of Pakistan written on it, know what is the reason?

Asia Cup 2023: Asia Cup 2023 is going to start from 30th August. This time the hosting of this tournament is with Pakistan, but due to bad political relations between India and Pakistan, India has refused to go to Pakistan, due to which now this tournament will be played in the hosting of Pakistan and Sri Lanka. There are still a few days left for the start of the Asia Cup, but before that a news is coming which the Indian fans might not like.

According to media reports, this will be the first time during the Asia Cup 2023 that Team India will wear the jersey which will have Pakistan's name written on it. Team India will play all their matches in Sri Lanka while Pakistan will play some of their matches at home, but since Pakistan is the host of the Asia Cup, all Asian teams may have to wear Pakistan's name on their jerseys.

If this happens then the Indian team will also wear the jersey which will have the name of Pakistan written on it. There is no official statement about this yet, but it is likely to happen because even before this the name of the host country has been seen on the jerseys of all the teams. If we talk about the upcoming Asia Cup, then this tournament is going to start from 30th August, but for Indian fans, the tournament will start from 2nd September because this is the date when the Indian team will play their first match against Pakistan. 

If the teams of India and Pakistan reach the final of the Asia Cup, then the fans will win the lottery as they can get to see three matches between these two teams in the same tournament. The group match between the two teams will be played in Kandy. After this, if India and Pakistan qualify for Super-4, then there will be another match between these two. On the other hand, if both these teams reach the final, then the fans will get to see the third match as well.
