Where a dead body has been kept for 450 years, but the surprising thing is that the body is not rotten yet.
It is said about this dead body that even today blood comes out from this body and nails grow like normal humans. Now the question must be arising in your mind that after all which divine soul does this dead body belong to? According to the report, this body belongs to Francis Xavier. He is known for the establishment of Christianity in India. He was born on 7 April 1506 AD in Spain. It is said that he was made a saint by the Portuguese at the time when Goa was ruled by him. By giving them special responsibility, they were asked to propagate Christianity.
Why not buried?
He did his work very well and many people started following him till the end. St. Xavier preached Jesus Christ in 52 different states in just ten years of missionary time, preached in an area of nine thousand miles and made millions of people disciples of Jesus Christ. Not only in India, he did the work of spreading Christianity in the surrounding countries including China and Japan. It is said that he died during a sea voyage in China.
He had already told his disciples that whenever he died, his body should be buried in Goa, but whenever he was buried, his body would be found the same as the first time. Hundreds of years ago, a woman claimed that she had once pricked a needle in St. Xavier's feet, then blood started coming out from there. The church in which his dead body is kept is about 450 years old and serious exhibitions of 'body' are organized every ten years. During this their grown nails are cut. At this time, a crowd of Christians from all over the world gather here.
