While addressing the meeting after laying the foundation stone and Bhumi Pujan of Sant Ravidas temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said – There will be grandeur as well as divinity in the Sant Ravidas memorial and museum. This divinity will come from the teachings of Ravidas ji, which have been added to the foundation of the memorial today. With the spirit of Samrasta, the soil of more than 20 thousand villages and more than 300 rivers have become a part of this memorial. Along with a handful of soil, lakhs of families of Madhya Pradesh have also sent a handful of food grains for Samrasta Bhoj. For this, the 5 Samrasta Yatras that were going on today have also got a gathering on the land of Sagar.
PM Modi said that these Samrasta Yatras have not ended here, but a new era of social Samrasta has started from here. PM Modi said that when inspiration and progress join together, the foundation of a new era is laid. Today our country, our Madhya Pradesh is moving forward with this strength. In this sequence, doubling of Kota-Bina railway line has also been inaugurated here today. PM Modi said, everyone is entangled in casteism and this disease is eating humanity. At that time Saint Ravidas ji was speaking against social evils on one hand and on the other hand he was shaking the soul of the country. When our beliefs were being attacked, restrictions were being imposed on us to erase our identity, then Ravidas ji had said, subjugation is a sin.
Saint Ravidas encouraged the society to fight against atrocities
PM Modi said, Sant Ravidas ji said that dependence is the biggest sin. One who accepts subordination, no one loves the one who does not fight against him. Saint Ravidas had encouraged the society to fight against atrocities. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had laid the foundation of Hindavi Swaraj with this feeling. This feeling was in the hearts of lakhs of freedom fighters in the freedom struggle and with this feeling today the country is moving forward on the resolve to get rid of the mentality of slavery.
PM Modi said - I know what is the pain of being hungry
PM Modi said that Sant Ravidas ji had said that the society should be such that no one remains hungry. Small and big should rise above this and move forward and everyone should live together. Today, in the golden age of independence, we are making every possible effort to free the country from poverty and hunger. PM Modi said that during the Corona epidemic, the systems of the whole world had collapsed. At that time everyone was expressing apprehension for the poor section of India, for the Dalit tribals. It was being said that such a big disaster has come after 100 years, so how will this filth of the society survive? At that time, I decided that no matter what happens, I will not let the people of my country sleep empty stomach. PM Modi said that I know what is the pain of being hungry. I know what is the self-respect of the poor. PM Modi said that I am a member of your family only. You don't have to find books to understand your happiness and sorrow. This is the reason why we started Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana. Free ration was ensured to more than 80 crore people. Today our efforts are appreciated all over the world.
Interpretation museum will be built in 14 thousand square feet
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Sagar this afternoon and performed the foundation stone and Bhoomipujan of Sant Ravidas temple. 100 crore rupees will be spent in the construction of Sant Ravidas temple which will be built on 11 acres of land. Nagara style stones will be used to build this temple. Along with this, Sangat Hall, Library, Interpretation Museum, Food Court will be constructed in it. Let us tell you that there is a plan to have 4 galleries in the Interpretation Museum to be built in 14,000 square feet.
