This player can become the replacement of Hardik Pandya, Gautam Gambhir told the name

Hardik Pandya is one of the most important players of the Indian cricket team. This right-handed all-rounder has the power to win his team with all three batting, bowling and fielding. Hardik is fully fit and will be seen playing Asia Cup and 50 over World Cup for the Indian team in the coming times. But meanwhile, the big question is that if Hardik becomes unfit due to any reason then who can be his replacement. Gautam Gambhir has given the answer to this difficult question.

In fact, Gautam Gambhir believes that the Indian team should also find a replacement for Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dubey can do the work that Hardik Pandya is doing for the team. Talking to Star Sports, he said, 'One name you could consider (Asia Cup 2023) the way he is in form is Shivam Dubey. Because it is very important to have a backup of Hardik Pandya as well.

Please tell that Shivam Dubey is a part of the Indian team in the T20 series being played against Ireland before the Asia Cup. Shivam Dubey has been seen in very good form in the past. Recently he also performed brilliantly for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2023. This left-handed all-rounder has so far played 1 ODI and 15 T20 matches at the international level.

Talk if Gautam Gambhir's opinion on the Indian team selected for the Asia Cup. So the former cricketer feels that the selectors have made a good squad pick but somewhere a wrist spinner should have been included in the squad. Gambhir said, 'The Indian team is looking like a seam heavy (fast bowler) squad. Either Ravi Bishnoi or Yuzvendra Chahal should have been picked because of the condition whenever you are playing in India you need two wrist spinners in your squad. It looks like a one dimensional attack. I think a little better could have been done here.
