KL Rahul is going to make a comeback in the Indian team through the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and all eyes will be on him before the 2023 World Cup. His critics will also be ready to target him in the Asia Cup, but in the meantime, one of his staunchest critics, former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad has done something ahead of the Asia Cup that has surprised the fans.
Venkatesh has 'secretly prayed' for wicketkeeper-batsman KL Rahul ahead of the Asia Cup 2023. Prasad has shared a picture with famous actor Suniel Shetty, sharing which Venkatesh has said that both of them visited the Swami Narayan temple in New Jersey. Through his tweet, it was Venkatesh who revealed that he prayed for Rahul.
Tweeting from his official Twitter account, he wrote, “Visited Swami Narayan Mandir in New Jersey with Anna. Prayed for the well-being of all Indians and for the good performance of the Indian team in the World Cup. Also secretly prayed for KL to find his form and thrash the bowlers, have a great World Cup and silence his critics like me. Everybody be happy."
Everyone is surprised by this tweet of Venkatesh because he has often been seen criticizing KL Rahul but because he was with KL Rahul's father-in-law Sunil Shetty this time, perhaps he could not criticize him. Let us tell you that some time ago, Prasad made a scathing attack on Rahul after the star batsman failed for Team India in the high-profile Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Rahul was also removed as the vice-captain of Team India after his batting decline in Test cricket.
