What to do and what not to do on Kajri Teej
After observing fast on Kajari Teej, it is considered very auspicious to make a small pond and worship the Neem tree. Along with this, Arghya must be offered to the moon on this day.
Do not wear black and white colored clothes on the day of Kajri Teej. Brides should wear green or red colored clothes and do sixteen adornments.
Must use wheat, barley, gram sattu on Kajri Teej. The fast should be broken by making a dish by mixing dry fruits and ghee in rice sattu.
Shiva-Parvati becomes very happy by making seven balls of flour after worship and feeding them to the cow by placing jaggery and ghee on them.
Avoid debate and anger on the day of Kajri Teej. Also, respect the elders of the house. Do not use abusive words for anyone in mind and speech.
Married women should apply henna during Kajari Teej fast. One should avoid sleeping in the afternoon on the day of Kajari Teej fast.
