Who is organizing Ramkatha in Cambridge University?
This event of Ramkatha in Cambridge is being organized by the youth of Britain under the cooperation and guidance of Lord Dolar. The event of Ram Katha is open to all on first come first serve basis. Parking for the story will be arranged at Madingley Road Park and Ride, where shuttles will be provided to the story site. A vegetarian breakfast and lunch will be served to all attendees. Katha is a cultural exchange between the Hindu tradition and the academic environment of the University of Cambridge. With this, students will be familiar with the religious and cultural heritage of both the countries.
When did Ram Katha happen for the first time in Britain
Bapu's first story in Britain happened in 1979. In 2017, the last episode at Wembley Arena attracted an audience of around 10,000 per day. Now after six years, Bapu is back in Britain doing Ram Katha. Many years ago, when Bapu first went to the UK to perform Ram Katha, his story was a way for NRIs to connect with their country. A cultural festival was a way of introducing our children to their mother tongue and faith. Apart from this, the children who started listening to him at an early age.
