The CBI says in the Supreme Court that Lalu Yadav is playing badminton. He has completely recovered. At the same time, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, appearing for Lalu, says that he has just had a kidney transplant. Even in such a situation, the CBI wants to send him to jail.
If health is not right then one should not play or jump. It is not only the doctors, but also the CBI which has reached the Supreme Court to cancel the bail of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. The central agency on Friday strongly opposed in the Supreme Court the bail granted to Lalu, who was recently seen playing badminton. The Jharkhand High Court had granted bail to Lalu in the fodder scam case, against which the CBI has reached the Supreme Court.
In front of the bench of Justice AS Bopanna and Justice MM Sundresh, Additional Solicitor General SV Raju, the counsel for the central agency, said that Lalu Yadav is playing badminton. He is completely fine, the decision to grant him bail was wrong. I will prove this during the trial. During this, Lalu's senior advocate Kapil Sibal cited kidney transplant and said that in such a situation the CBI wants to send him to jail. However, the court has not made any comment during this period and fixed October 17 as the next date of hearing on the CBI's petition.
It is notable that on July 28, the video of Lalu Yadav playing badminton came to the fore. The central agency opposed Lalu's argument in the Supreme Court on the basis of this video. Remember that RJD supremo Lalu had got his kidney transplanted in Singapore a few months ago. His daughter Rohini donated one of her kidneys to him.
'The basis for granting bail to Lalu from the High Court is wrong'
In the petition filed by the central agency in the Supreme Court, it has been said that the basis for granting bail to Lalu by the High Court is wrong. As per the sentence, he has not spent time in jail. Recently, Lalu has filed an affidavit requesting the Supreme Court to dismiss the CBI's petition, in which the central agency has demanded cancellation of his bail. Politics is also hot in this matter, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said that the poor are being harassed. CBI is deliberately troubling Lalu Yadav. The central government is troubling all its opponents.
