Now recently EPFO ​​has decided to invest your money in the stock market. EPFO has made a plan to bring all its redemption income from Exchange-Traded Fund ie ETF to the stock market. For this, talks are also being held with the Finance Ministry of the organization.

Actually, EPFO ​​invests the amount deposited in the account holder's account in different ways. A part of the earnings through this investment is given to the account holders as interest. As per the rules of the Ministry of Finance, according to the report of Economic Times, EPFO ​​has suggested such measures to the Ministry of Finance which will help in increasing the equity returns despite the instability of the market. EPFO can invest 5 to 15 percent of its income in equity and related funds. However, EPFO ​​is now demanding changes in these rules as well.

How much EPFO ​​is investing in ETF

Recently, the government informed that EPFO ​​has invested Rs 13,017 crore in Exchange Traded Fund ETF between April-July 2022-23. EPFO invested Rs 53,081 crore in ETFs during the year 2022-23, Rs 43,568 crore in the year 2021-22 and Rs 32,071 crore in the year 2020-21.
