Chasing the target, the Australian team scored 252 runs losing 9 wickets in 34.5 overs. Travis Head (17) was injured while batting so he did not come to bat. For this reason the Australian innings stopped at 252. Wicketkeeper batsman Alex Carey scored the most runs for Australia.
