Due to the mistake of Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank, Rs 9000 crore was transferred to the bank account of a cab driver. The cab driver also withdrew Rs 21,000 from it, but in the meantime the bank took back its money. Now a new update has come in this matter. According to the managing board of the bank, the CEO of the bank S Krishnan has resigned.

A cab driver in Tamil Nadu suddenly got Rs 9000 crore in his account. When the message came on the mobile, the cab driver thought it was a fraud, however, he transferred Rs 21,000 from his account to his friend to check. When this transaction was done, the cab driver jumped with joy. But the next moment his happiness vanished. The bank took back this amount of Rs 9000 thousand crores. This incident happened a week ago, but now the CEO of the bank has resigned in this matter.

He has given the reason for his resignation as personal. The matter is of Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank. Bank CEO S Krishnan has written in his resignation letter that two-thirds of his job is still left, but due to some personal reasons he is unable to serve in the bank. He joined this bank as CEO only in September 2022. The managing board of the bank accepted his resignation in its meeting held on Thursday and informed the RBI.

Also, S Krishnan has been asked to remain on his post till the RBI guidelines come. Let us tell you that due to some technical error in the bank's software, Rs 9000 crore was transferred to the account of a cab driver. By the time the bank realized the mistake, the cab driver had withdrawn Rs 21,000 from it. In such a situation, the bank has returned the remaining amount.

On the other hand, when the money came into his account, the cab driver felt that someone had played a prank on him. To check, he first transferred Rs 21000 from his account. When this transaction took place, his happiness knew no bounds. He was planning to spend the remaining money when the bank took back his money and handed over a recovery notice of Rs 21,000 to the cab driver. Due to this his happiness has been ruined.
