Aditya L1 Launch: Even the sun is not far away! ISRO launches Aditya L1 after Chandrayaan-3, know full details

 


New Delhi: Encouraged by the success of Chandrayaan-3, ISRO is now gearing up to achieve success in the Sun mission. ISRO has successfully launched Aditya L1 to study the Sun. This launching has been done from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. There are 7 payloads in this mission, out of which 6 are made in India. Aditya L1 will travel about 1.5 million kms. This mission is historic for India because it is India's first mission to study the Sun. According to the information received, Aditya L1 will take 128 days to reach the Sun's orbit. This mission has been launched with the most reliable PSLV rocket of ISRO. Although till now many countries including America have sent satellites to study the Sun, but ISRO's Aditya L One is unique in itself.

What will Aditya L1 do?

ISRO's Aditya L1 is the first Sun mission to reach the L1 point. The distance of this place from the earth is 1.5 million kilometers. Aditya L1 will study the Sun's rays and will remain here for 5 years and 2 months. Rs 378 crore will be spent on this work.

Significantly, the Sun is the closest star to the Earth. It is possible to study the Sun in comparison to other stars. After this mission, the remaining stars of the galaxy can be studied and information about the stars of other galaxies is possible. The distance to the Sun is about 15 crore kilometers and its temperature is 10 to 20 lakh degrees Celsius. Its age is 4.5 billion years. 

ISRO Chief along with the entire team of scientists performed puja in Tirupati

Before the launch of Aditya L-1 mission, ISRO Chief S Somnath along with the entire team of scientists had reached Tirupati and prayed for the success of the mission at Tirupati Balaji Temple. Before this, ISRO team had also performed special puja at Chengalamma Parameshwari Temple in Andhra Pradesh for the success of Aditya Mission. Like Mission Chandrayaan, there is enthusiasm in the entire country about ISRO's Mission Suryaaan. Prayers are being offered from different parts of the country for the success of Aditya Elvan Mission.
