Skin Cancer Study: Skin cancer is spreading rapidly these days. A recent study on skin cancer states that rich people have a higher risk of skin cancer than normal people. This study says that people living in the Atlantic region and Canada are at higher risk of melanoma i.e. skin cancer. Melanoma is a deadly and dangerous type of cancer that attacks the skin. This study conducted by McGill University has made many revelations regarding skin cancer.
Skin cancer is increasing rapidly in Canada
It has been said in the study that the risk of skin cancer is increasing very fast all over the world. Especially people living in Canada and the Atlantic region are increasingly coming under its influence. One in three people in Canada is at risk of skin cancer. To find out the reason behind this danger, it has been said in this study that the behavior, standard of living, income and gender of people in Canada and the Atlantic region were identified.
People of higher income group are becoming victim
It has been said in the study that people who earn more, ie people coming in the higher income group, are more prone to skin cancer. The reason for this can be excessive exposure to sunlight, excessive exposure to UV rays, sun burn, sleeping in tanning beds. Especially due to tanning beds, there are more cases of skin cancer. It has been told in the study that people who earn more than 50 thousand dollars every year, their outdoor work and activities are more and these people come in contact with sun and ultraviolet rays more. In such a situation, these people become more vulnerable to skin cancer. It has also been said in the study that after telling this reason, people will avoid sun burn and sun exposure and the increasing cases of skin cancer can be curbed. Not only this, men and people with fair skin also fall prey to skin cancer sooner than women.
