Chasing the target, the Indian team was all out at 259 in 49.5 overs. For India, the maximum runs came from the bat of opener Shubman Gill. Gill scored a century of 121 runs in 133 balls with the help of 8 fours and 5 sixes. This is his 5th century in ODI which came in 117 balls. Whereas Akshar Patel played an inning of 42 runs in 34 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes.
Mustafizur Rahman took maximum 3 wickets for Bangladesh. 2-2 successes were achieved by Tanzeem Hasan Saqib and Mehdi Hasan. Shakib Al Hasan and Mehdi Hasan Miraj got one wicket each. Mustafizur turned the match in favor of Bangladesh by dismissing Shardul and Akshar in the 49th over.
