KL Rahul completed 2 thousand ODI runs
Indian team's star wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul has made his comeback match against Pakistan quite memorable. He has become India's joint third fastest batsman to score 2,000 ODI runs. KL Rahul achieved this feat in his 53rd ODI innings. Before Rahul, Virat Kohli had also completed 2 thousand international runs in his 53rd ODI innings. Interestingly, when Rahul achieved this feat, Virat Kohli himself was standing at the non-striker ender.
If we look at the list of Indian batsmen who have scored the fastest 2000 runs in ODI format, Shikhar Dhawan comes first in this list. He touched this figure in 48 innings. Navjot Singh Sidhu and former Indian captain and veteran batsman Sourav Ganguly come jointly at second place. Both of them had completed 2 thousand ODI runs in their 52 innings. KL Rahul would now like to play a big innings against Pakistan to make his comeback more memorable. Rahul has got a chance in today's match in place of Shreyas Iyer who is out of the team due to a back injury.
