Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan team gave a special gift to Jasprit Bumrah on becoming a father, PCB shared a lovely video

 

Whenever the teams of India and Pakistan (IND vs PAK) face each other on the field, the enthusiasm of the fans as well as the players is sky high. During this time, sometimes there is some commotion among the players on the field. However, outside the field, there is a very good friendship between the players of the two countries, a recent example of which was seen once again. Shaheen Afridi congratulated Jasprit Bumrah on becoming a father, a lovely video of which has surfaced.

Actually, the third match of Super 4 of Asia Cup (Asia Cup 2023) was played between India and Pakistan today which could not be completed due to rain. Now this match will be played on Monday i.e. tomorrow on Reserve Day. This has disappointed the fans a lot. However, in the meantime, a very cute moment was seen between the fast bowlers of both the countries.

Like when we know that Jasprit Bumrah recently became a father. His wife Sanjana Ganesan gave birth to a son. For this reason Bumrah was not available for selection in the match played against Nepal. Today, when the match could not be completed due to rain, Shaheen Afridi ran to Bumrah and gave him a gift, congratulated him on becoming a father and also prayed to God for him. Bumrah thanked Afridi for this and also accepted his gift.

PCB shared the video of this lovely incident on their Twitter handle which they captioned,

It is noteworthy that this match being played between the two teams will be played tomorrow on the same ground in Colombo in which Team India will start playing after 24.1 overs. India has scored 147 runs losing two wickets in the game so far. Virat Kohli is unbeaten on 8 and KL Rahul is unbeaten on 17 runs.
