While talking to the media, Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj wondered why there is no CNG scooter or motorcycle in the market? He said that there will be no concerns for manufacturers related to range, safety, battery life and charging. Such bikes will be very good for the customers.

Rajiv Bajaj said that he is not seeing any increase in the sales of entry-level bikes in the 100cc segment during the festive season as customers are switching to electric options. For your information, let us tell you that Bajaj Auto has a total of 7 motorcycles in 100 cc and 125 cc segments.

Company's 'future planning'

Bajaj Auto Managing Director Rajiv Bajaj has indicated that the company may soon bring 6 new upgraded models of Bajaj Pulsar. Currently, 250 cc segment bike is also available in Bajaj Pulsar range.

Not only this, the company is also working to increase the production of Triumph and Chetak electric scooters. Preparations are underway to increase the monthly production of Triumph bikes from 8 thousand to 15 to 20 thousand. While the monthly production of Chetak electric scooter will be 10 thousand units in this festive season, the production will be increased to 20 thousand units by the end of this year.

Request to reduce GST

The Managing Director of Bajaj Auto has requested Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to reduce the GST on CNG vehicles to 18 percent.
