RBI has released a list regarding the holidays falling in the month of September. According to this list, banks will not open for a total of 16 days in the entire country this month. It also includes the Sunday falling every week and the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. The special thing is that this month, on 18, 19 and 20 September, banks will remain closed for 3 consecutive days. Similarly, on 27, 28 and 29 September also, due to festivals, banks will not open for three consecutive days. That is, any kind of work related to banking will not be possible. That's why you should complete all the work related to banking on 17th and 26th September only. Otherwise, you will have to wait for the opening of the bank for 3 days.

Shri Krishna Janmashtami and Ganesh Chaturthi are two big festivals falling in the month of September. These festivals are organized almost all over the country. Apart from this, there is also Nuakhai Shri Narayan Guru Samadhi Day, birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, birth anniversary of Shrimant Shankardev, Milad-e-Sharif and Indrajatra festival. In such a situation, banks will remain closed on these festivals. The special thing is that banks will remain closed according to different festivals in different states.

6 September 2023: Shri Krishna Janmashtami is on 6 September. In such a situation, banks will remain closed in Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh on this day.

September 7, 2023: Similarly, Shri Krishna Ashtami will be celebrated on September 7 in Chandigarh, Sikkim, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jammu, Bihar, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh and Srinagar. In such a situation, banks will remain closed in these states on this day.

September 8, 2023: G20 summit will be held in Delhi on September 8. In such a situation, all the banks of Delhi will remain closed on this day.

September 18, 2023: Vinayaka Chaturthi is on September 18. Banks will remain closed in Karnataka and Telangana on this occasion.

September 19, 2023: Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on September 19. Banks will remain closed in Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa on this day.

September 20, 2023: This day will be the second day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Along with this, banks will remain closed in Odisha and Goa due to Nuakhai.

September 22, 2023: Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi Diwas is celebrated in Kerala on this day. That's why banks will remain closed in Kerala on 22 September.

September 23, 2023: September 23 is the fourth Saturday and the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh. In such a situation, banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar.

25 September 2023: Banks will remain closed on 25 September in Assam on the birth anniversary of Srimanta Sankardeva.

September 27, 2023: Milad-e-Sharif (Birthday of Prophet Mohammad). In such a situation, banks will remain closed in Jammu and Kerala on this day.

September 29, 2023: Along with Eid-e-Milad-ul-Nabi, Indrajatra is also on 29th September. Banks will remain closed in Sikkim, Jammu and Srinagar on this occasion.
