The festival of Eid-e-Milad is to be celebrated in different states tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. However, it is celebrated in Jammu and Kerala today itself. Because of this there is a bank holiday here. In some states, the festival of Eid-e-Milad is to be celebrated tomorrow i.e. on 28th September and in some on 29th September. There is a holiday in banks on this occasion.

Eid-e-Milad is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of Muhammad Saheb, the founder of the religion of Islam. The Muslim community celebrates it with great enthusiasm. However, in Jammu and Kerala it is celebrated as Milad-e-Sharif. There was a bank holiday here on 27th September i.e. today itself.

Banks will remain closed here on 28th

On the occasion of Eid-e-Milad, there will be a bank holiday in Gujarat, Mizoram, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand.

Holiday here on 29th September

However, in some states Eid-e-Milad is also to be celebrated on Friday i.e. 29th September. On this day, banks are going to remain closed on Eid holiday in Sikkim and Srinagar. After this, banks will open on Saturday i.e. 30th September, because this is not the fourth but the fifth Saturday of this month. However, work in banks is likely to be a bit slow on this day as many employees are expected to go on long weekend leave.

Monday is 2nd October. On this day, there is a national holiday in the country on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and there is a bank holiday. In such a situation, there is a possibility of proper functioning of banks on Tuesday.
