Worship method of Bhadrapada Purnima fast
On Bhadrapada Purnima, worshiping Goddess Lakshmi along with Lord Shri Hari and observing fast for her is considered to be of great importance. It is believed that by worshiping and fasting as per the rituals on Bhadon Purnima, a person gets infinite virtuous results. According to Hindu belief, to get the virtuous results of worshiping Bhadrapada Purnima, a person should wake up before sunrise on this holy festival and take bath and meditate. On the day of Bhadrapada Purnima, a person should go to a water shrine and take bath and then donate his strength to a needy person or the priest of a temple. Those who wish for marital happiness must offer 'Ardhya' to the Moon in the evening along with their spouse. According to the Panchang, moonrise on this day will be at 06:18 pm and the best time for Lakshmi Puja will start at 11:18 pm. The best time for bathing and donating to Lord Satyanarayan would be from after sunrise to 10:42 in the morning.
