This project was offered to Saif about 9 years ago and it was because of him that this project came to Kareena.

The film 'Jaane Jaan' is the Indian adaptation of the novel 'The Devotion of Suspect X' by famous Japanese writer Keigo Higashino. Actually this film was announced in the year 2015. At that time, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was cast in it, but no further update came out in this regard. Aishwarya Rai also talked about this in an interview given to a portal and said that she had said 'yes' to this film, but she herself does not know when Sujoy will start this film.
