About 1000 people were included in the survey, out of which 50 percent were people who were undergoing treatment for stones for the last 6 months.

Senior physician of Delhi, Dr. Kamaljit Singh Kainth says that there is no evidence in medical science that drinking beer can cure stones. Dr. says that if the size of kidney stone is less than 6 mm then there is a possibility of its removal by taking liquid diet. But if the size has increased beyond this then you should consult a doctor.
Safdarjung Hospital Deepak Kumar Suman says that according to their convenience, people have created the impression that drinking beer removes stones whereas it is not so. Dr. says that excessive liquid diet puts pressure on the kidney and it can come out. But it is not necessary that drinking beer will remove stones.
What are the disadvantages of drinking beer in kidney disease?
If you assume that kidney stones can be removed by drinking beer, then it can prove to be a big misunderstanding. Beer or alcohol may increase urine production but it does not necessarily lead to formation of stones. Experts say that alcohol habit can increase dehydration in the body. In such a situation, the stone problem may increase instead of decreasing.
Not only this, the habit of drinking alcohol or beer harms the health of both kidneys and liver. Due to the functioning of the liver and kidneys being affected, additional pressure begins to build on other parts of the body. Therefore, get kidney stone treatment done only after consulting an expert or doctor. Instead of giving relief, home remedies can put you in trouble.
