Macaroni can be included in a weight loss diet, but it is important to do so thoughtfully and in a balanced manner.

How you prepare macaroni matters a lot. Macaroni is basically made from durum wheat. Which is the main reason for it being a healthy option. But we forget that we make macaroni with a lot of sauce or cook it in butter. This is where it becomes unhealthy.

Choose this type of macaroni

Goyal said when choosing macaroni, always buy macaroni made from whole wheat instead of sooji (semolina) or maida (refined wheat flour). According to Goyal, if you choose macaroni made from whole wheat, you will definitely feel heavy after eating and this will reduce your appetite because the complex carbohydrates present in whole wheat will give you a lot of fiber.
