The price of commercial gas cylinder in Kolkata has decreased by Rs 166.5, after which the price has come down to Rs 1636 per gas cylinder. In the month of August the price was at Rs 1802.50
There has been a decline of Rs 158.5 in the price of commercial gas cylinder in Mumbai and the price has come down to Rs 1482. In the month of August the price was Rs 1640.50.
In Chennai too, the price of commercial gas cylinder has come down by Rs 157.5 and the price has come down to Rs 1695. In August the price was Rs 1852.50.
How much did it become cheaper in two months

On the evening of 29 August, the government had announced a reduction of Rs 200 in the price of domestic gas cylinder. After which the new rates were implemented on 30 August. More than 10 crore people covered under the Ujjwala scheme will get the benefit of Rs 400 because they were already being given a subsidy of Rs 200.
