Today he is doing net house farming on his ancestral land, from which he is earning good income.

Mukesh told that he has built four net houses on his land, inside which he is cultivating cucumbers. According to him, the demand for cucumber increases in the summer season. In such a situation, he has been cultivating cucumbers in a net house for 2 years. Mukesh is making good profits from this. This is the reason why he gradually increased the area of farming. The special thing is that Mukesh has also given employment to many people in his net house.
Selling cucumbers at the rate of Rs 15 per kg
Farmer Mukesh Kumar says that the biggest advantage of farming in a net house is that it saves a lot of water. Because crops are irrigated through drip method in net house. This reduces wastage of water. Also water reaches the roots of the plants. Mukesh Kumar supplies cucumbers produced in his farm to many cities including Delhi and Chandigarh. At present he is selling cucumbers at the rate of Rs 15 per kg.
Can be cultivated throughout the year
Mukesh says that it costs two and a half to three lakh rupees to build a net house. But if farming is done inside it, the income increases considerably. The young farmer says that there are many varieties of cucumber, which can be cultivated throughout the year inside the net house.
